Purpose:
Whitehall Methodist Church located in Louisville, Mississippi is seeking a Senior Pastor that meets both the spiritual and personal qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9 and who strives to exemplify the fruit of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22-23. The Senior Pastor must love people and relate to people of all ages and from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. As the leader of Whitehall, it is also important to lead with sincerity, humility and with a passionate drive to provide pastoral care for the needs of both the congregation and community.

The role of the Pastor is to assist the Elders in overseeing the life and direction of the church. The Pastor is expected to have a firm grasp on the purpose, values, and strategy of the church as stated in the church mission statement.
