Job Responsibilities:

  •       Development and implementation of the mission and vision of the church

  •       Preaching at Sunday Worship Services

  •       Overseeing the Sunday School Program

  •       Leading the congregation in holy communion

  •       Conducting baptisms as requested

  •       Officiating funerals

  •       Offering premarital counseling and officiating weddings

  •       Leading confirmation class for the youth

  •       Overseeing and participating in church committees/teams and ministries, including being a part of the consistory to ensure the financial and spiritual well-being of the church

  •       Coordinating, delegating, and overseeing the planning of outreach activities in the surrounding neighborhoods and work with other community churches and organizations in cooperation and coordination of programs and/or services to further service and enhance the mission of the church.

  •       Visiting sick and shut-in members who are homebound or in care facilities

  •       Providing short term counseling as needed 

  •       Being available and responsive to crisis situations and will provide pastoral care through the most effective means possible and advising other professional help when needed

  •       Technological Experience (sound system, social media)

  •       and any other situations, actions, or activities requiring the guidance/assistance of the     pastor
