North Bay Comunity Church, located in Clearwatewr Florida, is seeking a full time salaried Senior Pastor after the Lord suddenly reclaimed for Himself our Pastor of 15 Years.
About Us
North Bay is a financially stable, intra-demoninational, Christian church communtiy founded in 1982. It has approximatly 450 members with a typical pre-pandemic weekly attendance of 250-300 and has continued to grow in our current hybrid service with 120 in person and 120 watching the web broadcast.
We are a church of believers from all walks of life and from all deniminational backgrounds, standing firmly on out mission statement "To Know Christ and Let Him be Known".
Our ministry includes a congregation focused on personal and spiritual developement, a traditional main-line Methodist style of worship, a Preschool Academy charged with instilling a Christian foundation for newborn to pre-kindergarten children and numerous local and international ministries.
Our Vision of You
The Senior Pastor will provide spiritual and pastoral leadership to its members. He or she will serve as the spiritual leader of the church to fullfill its mission and purpose as guided by the Holy Bible. The Senior Pastor should be a dynamic preacher, a preacher of God's word and theolgically astute, delivering messages that are relatable to the congregation. He or she needs to have a solid understanding of Biblical doctrine, its application to spiritual growth and its impact on the daily lives of the congregation. Our Pastor should be a leader who can cast a vision for the future of the church family and must have a proven track record of leadership, organizational development and effective communication.
Education and Experience
Ten plus years experience in ne or more of the following areas is preferred: ministering, pastoring, public speaking, counseling or large group leadership, with a minimum of five years as a Senior Pastor of a church that is recognized by the National Council of Churches with at least 200-300 members, or an Associate Pastor of a church greater than 500. You must be a Graduate of a School of Theology accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States or Canada, with a Master of Divinity Degree and ordained by an established ecclesiastical authority.
