Position Title: Worship Pastor

Department: Love Ministries

Reports Directly to: Community Pastor

Directly Oversees: Technical Director

Church Mission: To help people say ‘yes’ to God and become rooted disciples of Jesus

Primary responsibilities:

• Passionate about being a rooted disciple of Christ and personal growth


• Lead people to Jesus on and off the stage


• Create an inclusive atmosphere for the team


• Lead the worship team through pastoring, and training


• Believes in developing teams and makes room for many to serve 


• Lead and/ or build a team who leads Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights


• Believes that people need close community for growth and actively participates


• Work as a team player by supporting other ministries, being responsive to communications & attending staff meetings


• Oversee the Worship Department budget


• Embodies the values of “hungry, humble, smart” shared from The Ideal Team Player


• Enjoys being on a team that loves eachother and laughs together

• Planning Center: Proficient in using planning center as a team resource


• ProPresenter


• Click Track systems


• Aviom System


• Arranging music to connect the message to the audience


• High proficiency in guitar or piano with ability to train others
