Assistant to Equipping Pastor

To provide support to the Equipping Team as needed while empowering others to Know Jesus, Discover Hope, Experience Family and Live Sent.

Personal Responsibilities:

To maintain a growing and dynamic relationship with the Lord while demonstrating a servant's heart and Christ like attitude.

Qualifications:

• Prepare to make FBCA your home (membership + group involvement)


• Demonstrate initiative with an ability to work effectively apart from close supervision


• Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Drive)


• Excellent grammar, spelling and vocabulary as well as experience in managing budgets


• Proactive and effective communicator in person, on the phone and by email/text


• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive/proprietary info


• Highly organized and detail oriented


• Experience and passion for event planning, hosting and follow-up


• Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience is preferred

Position Responsibilities:

• Calendar management for Equipping Pastor


• Maintain budgets for Equipping Ministry


• Provide leadership and resourcing to discipleship events with necessary ministry leaders


• Prepare agendas, reports and budget updates for Equipping Pastor


• Attend meetings and events that are essential to carrying out the mission of FBCA as it relates to equipping team


• Be aware of all church events that would affect the Equipping Pastor's schedule and planning


• Other tasks assigned by the Equipping Pastor

Weekly Hours:

Monday - Wednesday | 8AM - 4:30PM (21 Hours A Week)
