The Rincon Valley Cowboy Church (RVCC) is a small church located in Vail, Arizona, just outside of Tucson, Arizona. We offer a regionally competitive compensation and benefits package.

RVCC's mission is to seek and lead folks to Jesus Christ as lord and to expand the work of the Kingdom of God. We are a Bible based church led by the Holy Spirit. Our focus is to reach out into our community with the love of Jesus Christ. We want to do this by meeting the spiritual and emotional needs of those in our community.

We are a small church looking to grow. We are looking for an experienced, licensed and ordained pastor who will help us grow in our walk with Christ, as well as grow in our community. The pastor should be strong in biblical doctrine and comfortable with expositional preaching and teaching. There is an expectation that the pastor will commit to remaining with the church, to help us grow internally and within the community.

We are a financially stable church and are looking for a pastor with strong financial awareness and responsibility. We are looking for a pastor with evidence of effective administration and leadership as he will oversee the administration of all church duties and work with the volunteer work officers and committees/teams as they perform their assigned responsibilities.  The pastor will be expected to work with the deacons, to include training and leading the deacons in their ministry.

Our Pastor should model faithful leadership in both the church and at home as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.

Both strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Along with teaching and preaching the Bible, it is expected that he will be a good communicator, keeping the church membership informed. He should be approachable within the membership, and willing to outreach into the community. Available to lead worship is a plus.

Please submit a cover letter, no more than 2 pages, with your personal story, your view of the role of the pastor, and outlining your doctrinal beliefs. Also include a resume and a copy of your ordination certificate and any college degrees you have. Please include links to, or copies of, at least two prior sermons, or a link to your current online postings or sermons.

Selected candidates will be notified and provided an interview date as well as asked to provide a sermon to church members. These candidates may be asked to provide additional information later in the selection process. In addition, final candidates must submit to a reference check, a criminal history background check, and a credit and financial history review (performed through an outside agency for complete confidentiality). The Pastoral Search Committee will treat any and all information confidentially.
