Postion Overview: The Children's Minister oversses the children's minstry staff and teams by training and developing team leaders for specific age groups to implement curriculum plans. This position is posted as part-time but it has the potential to be full-time if the individual hired is able to musically lead the children's ministry worship team.

Direct Responsibilites:
Spiritual development of children ages birth to 5th grade
Recruit volunteers to serve in the ministry
Assess and implement training plans for ministry leads
Oversee all children's worship services, including but not limited to, Sunday mornings, Adventure Kids (Wednesday and Thursday evenings), holidays, and special events
Organize and plan children's camps, retreats, and events
Coordinate upkeep of classrooms and resources room including equipment
Oversee maintenance of children's ministry furniture and equipment in classrooms and playground
Manage shared supplies, including cleaning supplies, in classrooms, resource rooms, laundry room, kitchen, and other facility usage areas during children's events
Financial Oversight:
Annual budgeting and reporting
Supervision and oversight of staff budget, hours, spending, and accountability
Payroll management and reporting bimonthly
HR Administration:
Manage children's ministry policies and procedures for staff, volunteers, and parents
Maintain children's ministry staff and volunteer flowchart
Lead administrator for children's ministry's communication tools and systems, including but not limited to, FellowshipOne, Weblink, Planning Center, Subsplash, Ministry Safe, Protect My Ministry, and Ridgeview Church website
