Job Description

Provide effective leadership to Junior High youth ministry. Help students become worshipers maturing in Christ. Give sound Biblical teaching to Junior and Senior High youth. Develop and encourage outreach to peers who do not know Christ. Develop curricula and teaching calendar. Equip and train volunteers. Model a growing relationship and prayer life with the Triune God. This is an ideal opportunity to mentor under a veteran youth pastor.

Our youth group, of 100 students, is growing and vibrant and part of a warm and loving, growing church. There are currently five pastors on staff. Our church, of close to 600 attendees each Sunday, is located just outside Bloomington-Normal Illinois, a community of close to 130,000 with two universities and a community college.
