About Desert Hills Bible Fellowship
Desert Hills Bible Fellowship, formerly Calvary Chapel Desert Hills, is a small, non-denominational, full-Gospel church founded in 2001. We are located in Desert Hills, north of Phoenix, on a one-acre property that includes a residence and a steel-building sanctuary recently expanded with a new stage and professional sound and lighting.
Approximately 45–50 people are currently part of our church family, with 25–30 attending our 10:30 a.m. Sunday worship service and approximately 20–25 participating in our Wednesday evening dinner and Bible study.
We are a verse-by-verse, expository Bible-teaching church that holds Scripture as our authority for faith and life. Teaching is primarily from the NKJV and KJV, with the ESV also acceptable. We celebrate communion monthly and value a close-knit “God, Family, Country” culture in which people know one another, care for one another, and faithfully show up for one another.
The church carries a mortgage but has no other debt, and we are grateful for God's faithfulness in providing for our ministry.
The Opportunity
Desert Hills Bible Fellowship is seeking a Senior Pastor who feels called to shepherd a small church while helping it enter a new season of spiritual health and growth.
Attendance declined during a difficult season that led to our previous pastor's resignation in January. Today, our church family remains generous, loyal, and ready to move forward under the leadership of the right pastor.
We have property and ministry resources that provide opportunities for growth, including a sanctuary designed for vibrant worship and community events. A residence on the church property may also become available for pastoral housing in the future.
Because of our growth-share commitment, the pastor who helps this church flourish will share directly in that growth. For a man called to invest himself fully in a church family and grow alongside it, the opportunity is meaningful—and so is the joy of the work.
Key Responsibilities
