Our congregation consists of young and old, financially stable and poverty level finances, black, white and brown people, straight and gay, traditional and contemporary, every denomination and every walk of life.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pastor to lead our congregation and provide spiritual guidance to our community. This is a Grace based church. The ideal candidate will possess a deep commitment to fostering a supportive, affirming and nurturing environment. This role involves preaching, teaching, counseling, and engaging with church members through various activities and events.
Duties
- Deliver engaging and dynamic sermons that inspire and educate the congregation on Christian teachings.
- Provide Christian counseling to individuals and families in need.
- Lead church services, including worship, prayer meetings, and special events.
- Assist in planning and coordinating church events, ensuring they align with the mission of the church council.
- Foster a welcoming environment by effectively communicating with congregation members and addressing their needs.
- Manage conflicts within the church community with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Collaborate with church leaders to develop programs that promote spiritual growth.
- Educate members on biblical principles and encourage participation in church activities.
Requirements
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in crisis management and conflict resolution.
- Background in Christian counseling or related fields is preferred.
- Experience in event planning is a plus, demonstrating organizational skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate support during difficult times.
- A deep understanding of Christian teachings and a commitment to living out those values in daily life.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships within the church council, the congregation and community.

Pay: 25,000.00 per year
