Job Title: Pastor of Youth Ministries / Associate Pastor

Covenant Fellowship Church is a non-denominational, Bible-believing church located in Greenville, Tx. We are seeking an individual with a calling on his life to fill the role of Pastor of Youth Ministries/Associate Pastor. In the role of Pastor of Youth Ministries, this individual will be responsible for the teaching, leading and shepherding of the High School and Middle School students. This includes day-to-day pastoring, shepherding and leading of the youth, ensuring unity, discipleship and active engagement of the teens and their faith. As a member of the Pastoral Staff, he will work closely with the KidZone children’s director and future youth as well as assist the Senior Pastor with pastoral duties of the church. The primary role of this position is to facilitate church growth by ensuring the youth body is a key spiritual part of this growth.

Primary Responsibilities:
● Planning and implementing engaging discipleship activities for both H/S and M/S students.
● Mentoring and encouraging students in social decisions.
● Facilitating group discussions and building Christ changing relationships.
● Developing outreach and peer participation.
● Fostering students with an evangelistic heart and passion for sharing the Gospel.
● Implementing student participation in church servitude.
● Fostering unity between the Youth and the church body in reaching others for Christ.
● Being involved through supporting students in their school extracurricular activities.
● Actively participating in church leadership and staff meetings.
● Overseeing Wednesday night Youth group meetings, and Sunday morning Bible study.
● Assist the Senior Pastor as needed with pastoral duties within the church body.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
● A Spirit-led calling for the student body that’s fueled by Christ’s compassion and love.
● A proven follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for serving others while sharing the Gospel.
● Demonstrated ability to teach Biblical truths and foster spiritual growth in teens.
● A clear understanding of youth culture and the challenges teens face, with a compassionate desire to walk alongside them in their faith-walk and journey towards Christ-likeness.
● Possessing or is striving to develop strong leadership and relational skills.
● A contagious energy and passion that cultivates engagement among our students.
● Ability to lead and organize group activities.
● Ability to communicate and work with parents for the spiritual growth of the student.
● Be able to work closely with the Sr. Pastor and staff to integrate the vision of family discipleship across all age groups.
